CRYPTOPSY: 'The Pestilence' Video To Receive 'Headbanger's Ball' Premiere This Weekend

March 30, 2006

CRYPTOPSY's "The Pestilence That Walketh In Darkness (Psalm 91:5-8)" video will premier on this weekend's edition of MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball", airing on Saturday, April 1. Filmed in a swamp, the clip features acolytes receiving the infamous worm-communion from Lord Worm's chalice. You can watch the video at the Century Media web site at this location.

CRYPTOPSY are preparing to hit the road in North America and Australia beginning in late April.

Commented drummer Flo Mounier: "How perfect is this?! CRYPTOPSY tears it up on the East Coast with IMMOLATION and longtime faves EXODUS, then goes to Australia for the first time ever to unleash Canadian brutality; hoping it won't effect their ecosystem too gravely. Finally one week on the West Coast, where we'll have a few days to get to know you better… be prepared." Touring in support of their new album, "Once Was Not", the band have also been scheduled to perform at Germany's Party.San Open Air and England's Ghostfest festivals.
